The Eye Bank follows the most rigorous of standards to ensure the corneal tissue we retrieve meets your specific guidelines for transplant. All eye donors are screened and all tissue evaluated to ensure safety for you and your patient. In addition, tissue is processed, stored and distributed according to the FDA, Good Tissue Practices 21 CFR 1271 and EBAA medical standards.
The Eye Bank provides the following services to all of our corneal surgeons:

High-quality corneal tissue for Penetrating Keratoplasty (PK) or Lamellar Keratoplasty (LK) procedures

Lamellar Pre-Cut services including: ALTK, DSAEK single-pass and DSAEK Ultra-Thin double-pass
