Screening and Logistics Coordinators

The Donor Services Center (DSC) screening and logistics coordinators work with your partners in donation to determine medical suitability for eye and tissue donors as well as to facilitate recovery logistics. Each coordinator is able to quickly analyze situations, make decisions and communicative effectively with all involved.

• At the time of referral, coordinators guide hospital staff through the eye and tissue donation process in accordance with their specific hospital’s policy.
• Each coordinator works closely with hospital staff to screen medical records in order to determine suitability for donation.
• The DSC coordinates recovery logistics with your fellow organ procurement organizations, hospitals, funeral homes and coroners to ensure efficiency at every step in the process.
