As a cornea transplant recipient, there are many ways to give back to the Heartland Lions Eye Banks. By making a financial donation to the Eye Bank, you are helping to assure that other cornea transplant recipients will be able to benefit from the services that we provide in the future.

There are several ways that you can make a donation to the Eye Bank and Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation.

Set Up a Bequest
Bequests, gifts made through a will, provide the potential for you to support the work of the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation and Heartland Lions Eye Banks by giving a long-term contribution. Please consult with your attorney about the best ways for you to leave a legacy to the Foundation.

If you are planning to make provisions for the Foundation in your estate please let us know so that we can convey our gratitude by recognizing you now for your generous future support. Establish a Memorial Fund
Often, a family or loved ones will wish to set up a memorial fund in the name of someone who is deceased to honor their memory. When sending your donation to the Eye Bank, please be sure to include the name of the person being honored or remembered and the name and address of the honoree or next of kind of the person being remembered so we can acknowledge your gift. Memorial donations can also be made online.

Set Up a Matching Gifts Account
Many employers will match a percentage or all of your gift to the Eye Bank. Please ask your Human Resources department about your employer's policies on funding matching gifts.
