Tony Bavuso
Tony Bavuso is the Chief Operating Officer for the Heartland Lions Eye Banks, and oversees the operations of multiple HLEB branches and departments. A top priority of Tony's position is to ensure HLEB provides high quality eye tissue to surgeons through responsible eye banking practices and by keeping up with the latest technology and industry regulations.

Tony has worked for the eye bank since 1998, after earning BA degrees in Biology and Psychology from the University of Missouri in 1997. Tony enjoys working in the field of donation and gains much satisfaction from helping to improve the lives of others.

In his free time, Tony enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter and pursuing his passion for aviation. He is also a registered official and spends his Fall Friday nights officiating high school football games.
