"Donation is a passion for me," said Lori Darr, HLEB's Director of Donor Services. "Having seen the process from the donor side and the recipient side, I know that so many things have to happen to make the miracle of donation happen."

Lori discovered the world of donation in 1996 when she began working as an Organ Procurement Coordinator for Midwest Transplant Network. In 2001, Lori became program manager for the organ donation program for the Missouri Department of Health and Human Services. And in 2007, Lori joined the HLEB team to work with the Donor Services Center and Hospital Services staffs.

Lori's role as Director of Donor Services focuses on a variety of administrative and policy functions to facilitate hospital and donor services. "It is our goal for HLEB to strengthen relationships with all of our partnering agencies and demonstrate our committment to providing the best services for hospitals, donors and their families," Lori said.
