Since its beginnings as the Lions Eye Bank in 1960, the Heartland Lions Eye Banks have grown to encompass several eye bank branches in the Missouri, Illinois and Kansas tri-state area. Currently HLEB consists of seven eye bank branch locations that work together to retrieve, process and distribute tissue. Our newest eye bank branch opened in summer of '04 in Joplin, Missouri.
